It gives me great pleasure to invite you to an evening of food & wine and introduce winemaker Charl Coetzee from Babylonstoren winery, South Africa.

Charl will be taking us through his range of wines as we sit down to a three course meal at The Cove restaurant.

Babylonstoren is at the heart of the wine country in South Africa with the Simonsberg mountains as backdrop and possibly the finest terroir in the Cape. With great terroir and wine making there is no surprise the wines are incredible, but don’t take my word for it, please do come an join us for what will be a delicious and tasty evening.

The dishes have been selected from the Babylonstoren cookbook.

This cookbook pays homage to Babylonstoren and specifically the Babel restaurant and the food created there. It’s also about more than food – it’s the story of an extraordinary place that brings together the work of horticulturalists, winemakers, farmers and culinary artists.

Roasted lamb rump with mint, caper and gosseberry pesto, garlic and herb croquettes, green beans
