Meet Amy

Amy’s passion is to bring people together through food; she is a self-confessed ‘deliverer’ of hopes and wishes and her love of people and food are so intertwined, that it would be hard to separate the two!

Sometimes she’ll be cooking up a date-night dinner for two or more in a private home, or hosting pop-up events in Weston-super-Mare, where people gather together to enjoy the joy of food.

Having started her chef training at Daunceys, her family’s hotel in Weston-super-Mare, Amy soon realised she wanted more. A move to Bath to work at 2 Michelin Star, Restaurant Lettonie, opened her eyes to a completely different way of cooking and serving food.

From there Amy was hooked and continued her Michelin journey with stints at Raymond Blanc’s Le Manoir in Oxford (2 Stars) and with molecular gastronomy Chef, John Campbell (1 star). In 2007 Amy and her family opened Oak and Glass – a fine-dining restaurant in Weston-super Mare, that had people travelling from miles for a reservation.

Now, Amy brings the fine-dining experience straight to people’s homes and caters for small groups, gatherings and parties.

And, when she’s not doing that, you’ll find her playing Ninjas with her two sons, eating out and drinking good red wine with her supportive husband and friends.
