How it works:
The following six white wines and six red wines are selected by us for you to sit back and enjoy with friends and food. The 13th wine is selected by you from the list below giving you an extra bottle making a bakers dozen.
Ngaru, Malbourough New Zealand
Pure, flavourful and intense with aromas and flavours of passion fruit and grass. This is well structured with integrated acidity and a nice rounded palate.
Sinfonia Verdejo, Spain
Lifted aromatics of lime juice and white flowers with zesty acidity. Characterful and refreshing this is a lovely wine. Enjoy with white fish dishes.
Lomas Carrera Chardonnay, Chile
Unoaked, fresh and crisp with notes of citrus, pineapple and lime. This is well balanced with a nicely rounded finish.
San Giorgio Pinot Grigio, Italy
A very classic Pinot Grigio with notes of pear, melon a beautifully balanced with fresh citrus acidity and a nutty finish.
Villa Borghetti Soave, Italy
Restrained notes of toasted almonds and marzipan with a nicely textured palate. Rounded and soft with a good length.
Pierre Lacasse Sauvignon Blanc, France
Vibrant with fresh citrus lemons and elderflower, lovely and refreshing. Superb with fish and chips!
Tempus Two Shiraz, Australia
A touch of oak gives this a lovely body, with spicy red and black fruit, blackberries and soft smooth tannins. Great with a lovely juicy burger and sausage and mash.
Cortestrada Sangiovese, Italy
Light bodied with a pale colour this is lightly herbal with notes of cherry skins, baked raspberry and pomegranate. Juicy and fresh this can be enjoyed with grilled meats and charcuterie.
Lomas Cabernet Sauvignon, Chile.
Attractive warm red and black cherry fruit with palate that is well-structured with some peppery tannins on the finish. Enjoy with the likes of lamb shanks or braised beef.
Liso Veinte Tempranillo, Spain
Tempranillo grape is known to make the famous wine of Rioja. Medium bodied full of red fruits, cranberry, raspberry and redcurrant with a firm tannin finish.
Kleindal Pinotage, South Africa
Distinctive Pinotage notes of pepper, smoke and tar with juicy red berry fruits and cranberries underneath. This is soft and succulent and can be enjoyed with spare ribs and grilled meats.
San Giorgio Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, Italy
Made from the montepulciano grape from the region of Abruzzo. Lots of black cherry bramble fruits, herbs and violets. Great with tomato based pasta dishes.
