How it works:
The following six white wines and six red wines are selected by us for you to sit back and enjoy with friends and food. The 13th wine is selected by you from the list below giving you an extra bottle making a bakers dozen.
Joyau Gros Manseng Chardonnay Côtes de Gascogne
Gros Manseng and Chardonnay come together to create a zesty, floral wine with orange blossom, elderflower and tropical fruit characters. There’s a freshness to balance the aromatics as lime juice and fleshy melon add complexity and a tangy, savoury finish.
Parlez Vous Sauvignon Blanc, Pay’Oc
A really zippy fresh style of sauvignon blanc, tropical fruits green apples and white flower with a lovely mineral fresh finish. Works great with goats cheeses, fish dishes and of curse with friends!
Pasqua Soave, Italy
A beautiful dry white wine with vibrant lemon and citrus notes, with a touch of bitter almonds. Great light seafood dishes.
False Bay Chenin Blanc, South Africa
Ripe apple aromas, honeyed aromatics, greengage and citrus lemon acidity on the long finish. Wine with great finesse and style. Perfect match with a variety of summer dishes or enjoy on its own after a hard day’s work!
Vila Nova Vinho Verde, Portugal
This is a fab wine, showing lots of freshness with lemon sherbet, citrus and a touch of warmer stone and mango fruits. Great on its on but perfect with salad and fish dishes.
Parlez Vous Cabernet Franc, Rose, France
A really fresh style of Cabernet Franc, fruits green apples and white flower
with a lovely mineral fresh finish.
Finca Clasica Shiraz Malbec, Argentina
Perfumed and juicy with notes of ripe plums and soft, red berry fruits. Easy drinking with mellow tannins Great match with sausage & mash and BBQ’s
San Giorgio Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, Italy
Made from the montepulciano grape from the region of Abruzzo. Lots of black cherry bramble fruits, herbs and violets. Great with tomato based pasta dishes.
Percheron Old Vine Cinsault, South Africa
From rare old vines aged up to 65 years old. It has lovely aromas of earthy with red fruit, cherry and a touch of spice with a fresh finish.
Pasquiers Grenache Noir, France
A juicy wine from the Languedoc giving red cherry’s and dark fruits with a touch of spice. Great with chicken and Pork dishes and drinking with friends.
Sinfonia Tempranillo, Spain
Medium bodied with notes of dill, mushroom and red fruits. There is cranberry, raspberry and redcurrant on the palate with a firm tannin finish. Enjoy with homely cottage pie and pie and mash.
Tinamou Carmenere, Chile
Notes of black cherry, blackcurrant and black pepper on the nose leads to an elegant palate with integrated tannins and a fresh fruit finish. Enjoy with chargrilled red meats or roasts.
