How it works:
The following six white wines and six red wines are selected by us for you to sit back and enjoy with friends and food. The 13th wine is selected by you from the list below giving you an extra bottle making a bakers dozen.
Tinamou Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon, Chile
Light and fresh with notes of pear, citrus, elderflower, melon and grass. The palate is zesty and refreshing with balancing acidity. Enjoy on its own or with seafood & white fish.
Escapada Vinho Branco, Portugal
reveals hints of floral and tropical aromas. On the palate, it shows a very good balance between its fruity and crispy character. Fresh and attractive acidity in the aftertaste.
Gold County Chardonnay, California
Honeydew melon and pineapple with ripe pear and baked apple. This is just off-dry with a soft palate and gentle acidity.
Kleindal Chenin Blanc, South Africa
Subtle notes of fruit salad and white stone fruit with a textured, well-rounded palate. There is fresh, balancing acidity and papaya and mango on the finish.
Parlez Vous Viognier
Crisp and fruity Viognier which is an excellent example of this grape variety, at this price point. It has lemon aromas with peach and apricot, clean and refreshing finish.
Penitino Pinot Grigio, South Africa
Light and fresh with zesty crispy acidity and attractive notes of lemon and lime. Perfect with seafood or white fish.
Escapada Vinho Tinto, Portugal
Rich dark concentrated fruits made with a blend of Portuguese grapes tinta roriz, touriga nacional and the more well know grape syrah. Medium bodied with lovely freshness. Great with frilled meats and pasta dishes.
Gold County Cabernet Sauvignon, California
Juicy and moreish with notes of sweet, ripe strawberries. This is light bodied, soft and easy drinking and can be enjoyed on its own or with spicy chicken.
Tinamou Carmenere, Chile
Notes of black cherry, blackcurrant and black pepper on the nose leads to an elegant palate with integrated tannins and a fresh fruit finish. Enjoy with chargrilled red meats or roasts.
Parlez Vous Malbec, France
A bright vibrant wine offering plump ripe fruit, blackberries, plums with notes of chocolate and a gentle leafy finish.
San Giorgio Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, Italy
Made from the montepulciano grape from the region of Abruzzo. Lots of black cherry bramble fruits, herbs and violets. Great with tomato based pasta dishes.
Cotes du Rhone St.Michel, France
A very charming wine with lovely fruit purity, bursting with red cherry, raspberry and cranberry. This juicy, full of fruit and easy drinking. Perfect with sausages!
