Funk Up your Sherry – Thursday 16th June

sherry festivalThursday 16th June will be an opportunity to drop in to the wine shop as we create a Jerez atmosphere.

We want to funk up your sherry by showing you sherry flights and cocktails.

Buy a sherry flight which includes 3 different styles for you to sit back and explore at your leisure.

Sherry shines with food and friends and we also want to show you how well it works in cocktails.

We will have a cocktail menu to chose from so grab a friend and will see you on Thursday 16th for a drink after work.

Tasting notes on sherry flight and cocktails will be available.

Sherry Cocktail Menu & Sherry Flight

Wins – jito  £4.50

 Fresh and Zingy – Cool long and refreshing.

A deliciously fresh cocktail with Lustau Fino, mint, lime and lemonade. Served in a long tumbler to quench your thirst.

Sherry Bond £6.50

Dry – Love a martini, you’ll love this!

Amontillado sherry, Bramley & Gage dry vermouth, a dash aromatic bitters, orange peel garnish, served in a classic martini glass.

Aphrodite £7.50

Sweet – Rich & smooth

Barbadillo cream sherry, Bramley & Gage dry vermouth, Bramley & Gage sweet vermouth, dash of Cardenal Mendoza Angelus Brandy, orange twist garnish, served in balloon glass.

Sherry Flight £6.50

Enjoy three different styles of sherries for you to nose swirl and enjoy at your leisure.

Tio Pepe Fino En Rama – Taste as though it was straight from the barrel, a light filtration.

Leonor Palo Cortado 12 Year Old – Fresh and elegant and offers richness of orange zest

hazelnuts, almonds with a slight spicy edge.

Lustau Old East India Sherry – Maple syrup, brown sugar, rich raisined fruit, prunes with a lovely nuttiness.
